Frequency:

  • Very acute patients
    • 3 times the first week
  • Most patients
    • 2 times per week for 2 weeks
    • 1 time per week for 3 weeks
    • Once every other week for 2 visits
  • Then preventative/wellness care is recommended once monthly

How long before I’m better?

  • Significantly better (50%) in 2 weeks
  • Muscle strains – 4-6 weeks
  • Ligament sprains – 8 weeks
  • Fractures – 6 weeks
  • Whiplash – 8-10 weeks
  • Disc disorders – varies- 4-10 weeks
