Chiropractic is becoming more and more mainstream. Interaction with the medical community is better today than it was 20 years ago. I, Dr. Price, have several great relationships with attorneys, general practitioners, advanced pain management, physical therapists, and D.O.s. I also have numerous nurses, O.T.s and other health care professionals as patients. Chiropractors are being recognized to admit and treat patients in hospitals and to use outpatient clinical facilities (labs, x-rays, etc.) for their non-hospitalized patients. Froedert, for example, has chiropractors on staff. Hospital privileges were first granted in 1983.

Government has been promoting exercise, lifestyle changes, and chiropractic to practice prevention and wellness for citizens. Research shows it is very cost-effective, especially in the long run. Symptoms are not a good indicator of how healthy you really are. You won't die from a paper cut, yet you can't feel cancer, heart disease, or AIDS. Pain is the last thing you feel and the first thing that goes away. People replace their car, phone and computers that they do maintenance on, yet we wait until our bodies are broken before we fix them. So just like you should change your oil every 3,000 miles or have your teeth cleaned every six months, you should make sure your joints are moving properly, your muscles are relaxed and have proper circulation through them, and that your nerves are working properly.

Thank you to Karen Rockwell, W.C.A., and A.C.A. for providing much of the information.
